June 6, 1944: D-Day

Please take a minute today to pray for the Allied troops that fought, and those that were lost, on the beaches of Normandy 67 years ago today. God bless you all. Thank you for my freedom.

  1. I was privilaged to know a man who was on the beach this day 67 years ago. He passed away about a year ago after a long and full life. His experience at Normandy was not something he spoke much about. He made it when so many did not. After making it across the beach, there was the struggle to make it to the German positions and stop the guns. Then the fighting march across France.

Bob, I thank you and your comrades in arms for your service and your sacrifice. God Bless you all.
